In November 2009 former owner and Adelaide Restauranteur (The Manse Restaurant), celebrity chef Bernhard Oehrli  and his partner Jacky Daniels married at Coriole's Winery followed by a reception at Darry's Verandah at D'Arenberg's Winery - both located in McLaren Vale, South Australia.

Jacky contacted me from Switzerland where she and Bernhard now own a beautiful boutique hotel in the Swiss Alps. The initial consultation started while they were still in Switzerland,  busy with preparing their upcoming vibrant winter season in the Swiss Alps.

Once Jacky and Bernhard got to South Australia we caught up to finalise their wedding flowers and all other details.  Below is a comment she sent me recently after the hectic Christmas season in the snow had settled a bit...

Dear Andrea, .....    As you would know, planning a wedding is months of work, trying to fit together every little detail to create what would be remembered as a magical day.

When you arrived at Penny’s Hill to deliver my flowers, it was the first aspect of my wedding I got to view, full of excitement and fear, I wondered if the visions for my day were going to come together ?

Greer and Chris contacted me for their wedding flowers in McLaren Vale from England, from where Greer organised her wedding at Woodstock Winery in February this year. 

   "Hi Andrea,   it was lovely to finally meet you in Australia. It was all a bit busy after the wedding, but I wanted to thank you for putting together such beautiful flowers..I absolutely loved them..actually, everyone did!! This wedding below took place in the romantic, "tuscan rustico style" settings of Paxton's Winery in the beautiful Mc Laren Vale. The bride and groom had decided on a "casual" wedding without a large bridal party. Nonetheless they wanted to present their guests with a pretty decorative setting. 

The brief was to create a  simple but elegant looking table centres as well as a bridal bouquet and button holes.  The bridal bouquet is consisting of ivory roses, orchids, tulips and selected greenery to create different structures, heigths and points of interest.
